The 5th annual forum of our Company took place on 19th of June 2019 at New World Makati Hotel, Philippines.

5th ANNUAL FORUM

Company’s top management representative Mr V. Bacolitsas as well as the new Managing Director Mr C. Savvides and Company’s DPA Mrs E. Nannou met with old and new seafarers.

The Company as well as its targets and objectives were presented and discussed with the seafarers and clarifications have been given on the spot to their questions.

Benefits and awards of Company’s pools have been explained in order to set up a clear line of collaboration.

It was an opportunity to refresh tanker & bulk carrier deck and engine Officers’ and crew knowledge on Company’s Management System requirements on cyber security, near miss reporting, entry into enclosed spaces, social media, forthcoming regulations on IMO 2020 etc.

The participants had an opportunity to meet with Top Management, exchange their views and opinions and elaborate on how to establish a safe and healthy life onboard.

As an innovation, evaluation feedback on the Company, the life onboard Company’s vessels as well as any suggestions proposed have been requested from the participants in order to assist the Company to elaborate a family environment onboard.

The feedback received is taken into consideration in the process of the review of Company’s activities, targets and objectives.

As many of our seafarers were engaged onboard our vessels, it has been announced that a second forum will be held within December in order to give them the opportunity to take advantage of such conversations with Company’s staff.
