The biggest seafarers training forum in the history of Sea Pioneer Shipping Corporation was conducted on 19th and 20th of June 2023 at The Peninsula Manila Hotel, Philippines.

6th ANNUAL FORUM

The office was represented on site by a six-person delegation, the biggest ever, along with three representatives from the West of England P&I Club.

In addition, representatives of Helmepa and Alpha Marine Engineer were invited to present online topics of importance, whilst about 80 seafarers actively participated.

The primary aim for conducting this forum was to present the company's values, mission and vision as well as to set its targets and objectives for the future; to enhance the bond between office and seafarers as well as to highlight some key aspects of new regulations, such Sire 2.0, Dry BMS, health and safety issues on board, as well as training on best practices and ways to improve the services both crew and office provide, always within a sustainable environment.

At the end of the conference, an open discussion and exchange of ideas took place between the company's officers and the seafarers and it was decided that a second forum should be held latest by February 2024, in order to provide the opportunity to the seafarers who were serving on board our vessels to attend as well.
